I began in 1983 as a young apprentice in an Antwerp atelier, with gold dust under my nails and big dreams in my head. Back then, I thought it was about the craft itself: the shaping, the soldering, the polishing.
But after decades of conversations at my workbench, I understood that a piece of jewellery is never only about the metal. It is about who you remember. The paw that held yours in the final hours. The warmth of fur you can still feel when you touch the pendant.
That realisation changed everything I make.
